Which carbomer grade should I choose?
Start from the viscosity and flow you need. 940, 980 and 996 give high viscosity and a short flow for firm, clear gels. 934, 934P, 956 and 974P sit in the middle; 934P and 974P are the pharmaceutical grades. 941, 971 and 981 give low viscosity and a long flow for lotions and sprays. Describe your application and we will recommend a grade.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Flexible. Tell us the quantity you need, for a single order or regular supply, and we will quote for it. Larger and repeat orders receive volume pricing.
Do you work with distributors and traders?
Yes. Distributors and traders in India and overseas resell Shellpol carbomer and Cresol RH. Share your market and expected volumes and we will quote for regular supply.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes, for most grades. Select “Sample request” on the contact form and tell us the grade and your application.
Which documents come with an order?
Every batch ships with its certificate of analysis (COA), and we provide the material safety data sheet (MSDS). Copies of our ISO 9001:2015, Kosher and Halal certificates and technical data sheets are available on request.
Which pharmacopoeia standards do your products meet?
Our grades are made to IP (Indian Pharmacopoeia), USP, BP and EP specifications where applicable. Each batch’s certificate of analysis states the standard it was tested against.
How are the products packed and stored?
In moisture-proof bags and drums. Store in a cool, dry place with the container closed; carbomer powder absorbs moisture from the air.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. We export through established logistics partners, and every shipment is tracked. Include your delivery country when you request a quote.
Can you work to our specification?
For regular orders, we can discuss adjusting specifications to suit your formulation. Send your requirements and our technical team will advise what is possible.
